Responsibilities:

Assist senior merchandisers and sales representatives throughout the merchandising process, providing valuable support and insights.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that drive sales and enhance company visibility.
Assist in identifying new business opportunities and remain informed about industry trends to contribute to strategic planning.
Support the achievement of sales targets and actively contribute to overall company growth.
Handle ad-hoc assignments and projects as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Work experience is preferred, but there are no specific field requirements.
Innovative and self-motivated, with a strong eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
Excellent team player with strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
Proficient in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
Willingness to travel for business as needed.

Job Description:

Handle the design process for Innovative bag and shoe collections, aligning with brand identity and market trends.
Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to develop compelling product narratives.
Create detailed technical specifications and prototypes for bag and shoe, ensuring quality and functionality.
Oversee the production process, collaborating with manufacturers to maintain design integrity.
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and consumer preferences in both sectors. Present findings to the design team to inform future collections.
Conduct regular quality inspections of samples and finished products, ensuring adherence to design specifications.
Troubleshoot design issues during production and propose effective solutions.
Mentor junior designers, providing guidance on design principles, materials and techniques.
Develop seasonal lookbooks and presentations to showcase new collections.
Execute seasonal buying campaigns and promotional events, showcasing bag and shoe collections to key stakeholders.

Requirements:

Degree or non-degree tertiary education, preferably in Product Design, Fashion Design or an Art related subject.
At least 5 years working experience of relevant experience in design ladies fashion bag and shoe design.
Experience gained from graphic design preferable, but not compulsory.
Work independently and able to meet tight schedule in a fast-paced retail environment.
Strong sense for design, color, material & fashion with strong understanding of trends.
Proficiency in design and graphics design software such as Mac, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator etc.
Can work under pressure with tight deadlines.
Good team player, strong interpersonal, planning and organization skills to multi-task.
Self-motivated, initiative, detail- minded.
Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
Occasional travel to China and overseas is required.
