Business Analyst (Transformation and Technology)
Reporting to the Head of Transformation and Technology, this role is to play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our business needs and technology solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse business processes, and recommend IT solutions that enhance efficiency and drive business growth.
Job Responsibility:
Review and monitor the performance of IT infrastructure capability and set up of IT related tools and systems including computer hardware, systems and applications software, for delivering of digital platform
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
Analyse and map business processes to identify areas for improvement
Develop detailed functional specifications and system design documents
Work with stakeholders, project manager and vendors to ensure solutions align with business objectives
Conduct user acceptance testing and provide training to end-users
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
Assist in the development of project plans and timelines
Job Requirements:
University graduate in information technology or related discipline, post graduate education preferred
Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar role
Proven track record in successfully managing and implementing digital transformation projects as an advantage
Hands-on experience in artificial intelligence, big data, data analytics, robotics process automation, AWS products, cloud computing, open-source, etc as an advantage
Strong business acumen with strategic and analytical mind and broad across disciplines knowledge
Excellent analytical and problem-solving and a good team player
Multi-tasking, self-motivated and good interpersonal skills
Good presentation and communication skills, proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese, with Putonghua as an advantage
Manager, Professional Assessment Development
Reporting to the Assistant General Manager (PCD), the Manager (Development), PAC will assist to lead and manage the department to develop and drive assessments of the Professional Qualifications Programmes. He/she will work closely with the programme development departments to ensure the assessment methodology and standard is suitable for the relevant professional qualification programmes. The job requires planning and managing new products, projects and activities across regions and ensures quality and consistency of the assessment processes.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the development of professional assessments to cater to the assessment needs and meet the intended outcomes of the related professional qualifications
Manage and execute the Smart Question Management System (SQMS) and development of Learning Management System (LMS)
Manage and assure the assessment development process to deliver quality services in accordance with the prescribed QA policies and guidelines
Manage in maintaining and revising the policy, procedure and guideline under the scope of professional assessment development
Prepare the development of professional assessment documents such as questions pool, assessment papers, reference guidelines, correspondence letters, etc.
Manage the HKIB Council Banks Professional Qualification Scholarship Fund with all the stakeholders’ liaison and coordination
Be a core member of the project team on the accreditation of Professional Qualification Assessment Agency (PQAA), and industry-related projects
Communicate and collaborate with external & internal stakeholders
Participate in and facilitate institutional events and programmes as needed
Drive and manage in compiling various management information reports as to reflect business updates for decision
Perform ad-hoc projects and tasks assigned by supervisors
Job Requirements:
Degree holder or above with at least 5-year relevant experience gained from banking, financial, training, and education industries with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role preferred
Attentive to details, able for multitasking and work independently, self-motivated, and proactive
Good project management and quality management skills
Strong team leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
Proficient in computer software applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing
Membership Manager (Outreach and Events)
Job Responsibility:
Develop and formulate strategies in membership recruitment and retention for both Corporate and Individual Members
Work closely with management team in membership recruitment including banks’ senior management, award judges, HKIB programmes’ trainers & examiners, committee members, event sponsors, etc.
Drive Student Membership recruitment and engagement for university students as our future bankers
Drive membership benefits’ campaign and initiatives including free CPD activities, new members’ welcome event, life style activities, etc.
Work on government funded projects involving Corporate Members and other Authorized Institutions in Hong Kong aiming for talent development for the local banking sector
Oversee membership operations in enhancing efficiency including CRM system, annual renewal, feedback management, etc.
Job Requirements:
Degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related discipline
Minimum 8 years relevant experience covering event & project management as well as stakeholders’ communications and engagement with at least 3 years’ managerial experience
Strong project management, analytical and problem solving skills
Knowledge and exposure in the banking & finance industry would be advantageous
Able to work independently and make sensible judgment from a macro perspective
Able to prioritise, to work flexibly, and to handle multi-tasks with tight deadlines and under pressure
Proven skills in communication and literacy including proof-reading and presentation skills
A hands-on and detailed-oriented person with high accuracy
Proficiency in English and Chinese (verbal and written)
Training Assistant (Part-time)
Job Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to various projects and events
Input data in systems/worksheet and prepare reports
File documents of hard copy or soft copy in a systematic manner
Support cross-team projects or events as and when required
Assist in preparing training materials (including translation from English to Chinese and vice versa)
Job Requirements:
High accuracy and detailed mind
Self-motivated and willingness to learn
Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)
Proficiency in MS software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & Chinese word processing
Must be able to commit a minimum of 4 working days per week
