The Insurance Authority (IA) is the independent statutory body whose principal function is to regulate and supervise the Hong Kong insurance industry to promote its stable development and to protect existing and potential policy holders.

IA now invites applications for the following position:
Management Trainee
Our Management Trainee Scheme aims to develop high calibre fresh and recent graduates to assume managerial roles in support of the service needs and development of IA.
This position is best suited for candidates who want to develop a challenging and rewarding career in the insurance sector with one of the principal regulators of Hong Kong. Successful candidates will undergo a 2 to 3-year structured programme where they will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in various functions, including regulating insurers and insurance intermediaries, and formulating regulatory policies and development of initiatives on promoting the insurance industry.

Requirements
• A Bachelor’s degree and above, preferably in finance-related disciplines, laws, actuarial science, and data analytics
• Good academic results with predicted upper second-class honours or above
• Genuine passion for pursuing a career in public service and/or insurance sector
• A team player with leadership potential
• Strong analytical and communication skills and self-motivated
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (preferably including Putonghua)
