Product Support Engineer

The Role

You will work under Customer Service department who is accountable to provides on-site service, to assist in the operational deployment and use of the system / equipment and supports its maintenance. You will support one of our railway systems, it includes, and not limited to Service roll-out, Service delivery, Process, Work flow, Work instruction, Problem resolution and service incident handling.

Responsibilities

Support Customer operations, anticipate operational problems and contribute to improve the system / equipment operation:

  • Develop Customer knowledge (configurations, maintenance and repair status, fleet). Observe and study system / equipment functioning, operating modes and performance results . Perform routine checks and counselling when appropriate

  • Conduct on-site training for our clients

  • Collect, analyze, and summarize operating and engineering data, analyse trends, study system / equipment limitations, interpret alarms

  • Communicate pro-actively with Customers as primary technical interface

Dispatch Customer issues to the appropriate organizations and ensures the necessary actions are carried out:

  • Conduct technical / program reviews with Product Support, Supply Chain, Maintenance and Repair representatives;

  • Collect and report on Customer technical issues . Analyse problems, collect all relevant information and provides answers to Customer queries. Develop and implement resolution plans, take appropriate decisions support. Propose optimization of the system configuration;

  • Ensure the needed actions are performed

Requirements:

  • High Diploma in Engineering or equivalent

  • 2 years working experience in Engineering field prefer

  • Team player and good communication skills

  • Previous training experience preferred

  • Good interpersonal skill and service attitude

  • Site work required

  • Able to work under pressure in the fast-paced working environment

  • Fresh graduates are welcome

  • Fluent spoken Cantonese & English


Technician (系統維修技術員)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily maintenance activities, which include fault investigation, recovering and reporting under 24 X 7 environment.

  • Hold hotline and answer customer enquiry

  • Carry out field services, provide hardware maintenance & installation services

  • Perform preventive maintenance activities.

  • Perform software upgrade and hardware modifications

Requirements:

  • School certificate in Engineering (Computer, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical) or above

  • On-site service support experience

  • Electrical knowledge and installation skills

  • Good communication skill, telephone manner, and service attitude

  • Good command of Cantonese and English

  • Shift-duties and site work required

  • Driving license will be advantage

Location: all MTR stations and covering New Territories & Kowloon
