Assistant Accountant (Property Management, Reporting)
Responsibilities:
Handle journal entries
Handle month-end, interim, year-end closing and sub-consolidation for management companies
Handle month-end and year-end closing for properties
Handle monthly financial statements, operational reports and account reconciliations
Assist in managing contractual obligations, to ensure that financial reporting is properly recorded
Ensure that all financial reporting is accurate, timely and in compliance with company policies, and applicable statutory and tax reporting requirements
Prepare annual audit, tax schedules and other supplementary documents
Assist in co-ordination with IT team for system issues and conducting testing
Perform ad hoc assignment as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
Higher Diploma or above in Accounting or related disciplines
Minimum 2 years of accounting and commercial experience, preferably gained in Property Management Industry
Student Member of HKICPA/ACCA/CPA Australia or related professional qualifications is an advantage
Experience in D365 and Oracle systems is preferred
Proficiency in using MS Excel
Good command of Cantonese and English
Work independently and under pressure with tight deadlines
Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively at all levels
Senior Accountant (Financial Investment)
Responsibilities:
Manage daily operation works
Prepare full set of accounts, including month end closing, tax and other reporting requirements
Responsible for sub-group consolidation
Liaise with external auditors and tax representative to ensure all statutory and tax compliance requirements are met
Prepare schedules for annual audit and interim review
Prepare monthly and quarterly management report
Prepare annual sub-group budget
Participate in system enhancement process and perform UAT where necessary
Prepare financial investment portfolio reconciliations
Perform any ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by the management or team head
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting or Finance
Qualified member of HKICPA, ACCA, CPA Australia or equivalent
At least 5 years of relevant work experience in auditing, accounting and reporting with solid experience in preparing budget and consolidation accounts
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of Oracle EBS is an advantage
Good command of English, Cantonese and Putonghua
Able to meet tight timelines, independent, initiative with good analytical and communication skills
Immediate available is preferred
