Full Time/ Part time Clerical Assistant in Suen Chi Sun Hall

Full-time/ Part-time Clerical Assistant in Suen Chi Sun Hall  (Ref.: 531357) (to commence as soon as possible, on a 1-year temporary basis or 2-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal, subject to satisfactory performance. Appointment on fixed-term basis will be offered a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary.)

Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, preferably with 1-2 years’ relevant work experience. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua), excellent IT knowledge and proficiency in MS Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint). They should also possess good communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and in a team, be attentive to details, demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility, as well as the ability to work under pressure.

The appointee will provide comprehensive clerical and administrative support to the office, assist with students’ move-in/move-out, maintenance and housekeeping concerns; and perform any other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.

Office Attendant in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 531388) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have completed Form 3 or above, with at least 8 years’ work experience in handling office matters in an educational institution.  They should also have a fair command of written and spoken Chinese and English, a good sense of responsibility, be pleasant and polite, and able to work independently.  

The appointee will provide general office support at the Faculty’s campus in Cyberport, including delivery of documents, maintaining office cleanliness, providing logistics support to functions and events; and perform any other duties as assigned.  The appointee will be required to work on Saturdays for 6 days a week and may be required to work overtime as and when necessary.
