Manager (Marketing), Graduate School
The Graduate School of Hong Kong Baptist University is seeking a highly motivated and seasoned marketing professional with a passion for higher education to join our team in the areas of promotion, publicity and outreach. The successful candidate will drive our marketing initiatives, be the content creator for the Graduate School’s core messages and play a critical role in advancing our recruitment, visibility and promotional efforts. Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and communications strategies to elevate the profile of the University’s research postgraduate (RPg) programmes and initiatives;
Digital Marketing: Drive the Graduate School’s digital marketing initiatives, including the management and growth of our social media platforms and website to increase engagement and reach;
Content Creation and Management: Manage the end-to-end content creation process, from ideation and development to publishing and performance analysis;
Promotional Activities: Plan and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy, including local and non-local recruitment fairs, webinars, live-streaming sessions, and targeted outreach campaigns;
Events: Plan and organise networking activities, ceremonial events, and conferences for students, faculty members, and industry partners;
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with other departments, researchers, students, and other stakeholders to identify and amplify the unique stories and value propositions of our RPg community; and
Market Research: Analyse market trends and campaign performance to measure ROI and devise new initiatives to enhance the visibility of our RPg programmes.
Requirements:
Minimum of seven years of relevant work experience in marketing, public relations, or a related field, preferably in an academic setting;
A recognised degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (a higher degree will be an advantage);
Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns and strong project management and organisational abilities;
Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese; and
Proficiency with digital marketing tools, web content management, and data analytics.
Senior Executive Officer, Department of Chemistry
Responsibilities:
The appointee is expected to provide administrative support to the Department to:
Render secretarial support to the Department;
Perform RPg programme administration and other curriculum-related duties;
Serve committees;
Organise seminars/symposia;
Handle research grant applications and research staff recruitments; and
Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree preferably with five years of relevant work experience;
Strong communication, organisational and analytical skills, and a strong sense of responsibility;
Be proactive, mature and able to work independently; and
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) and literacy in computing applications are required.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend a written assessment.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Executive Officer, Department of Chemistry
Responsibilities:
The appointee is expected to provide departmental administrative duties to:
Render secretarial support;
Assist in TPg and Ug programme admissions, administrations and other related activities;
Organise seminars/symposia;
Handle logistic arrangements of visiting scholars;
Assist to update social media platforms and prepare publicity materials; and
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree preferably with two recent years of relevant work experience;
Strong communication, organisational and analytical skills;
Strong sense of responsibility, being proactive and mature, and be able to work independently are expected; and
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) and literacy in computing applications are required.
