Hong Kong Airlines is organizing a Pilot Recruitment Roadshow in March 2025 with sharing sessions and onsite assessments giving skilled individuals the opportunity to be part of our world class flight crew team. We are looking for high calibre and enthusiastic pilots to join our energetic airline in further expanding our global footprint with a new fleet of Boeing 787-800.

Venue: The Grand Four Wings Convention Hotel
Information Sessions: 09:00 - 10:00 on 22 March and 09:00 – 10.00 on 23 March

Minimum Requirements – Type Rated Pilot

A320 Captain – Type Rated

Minimum of 5,000 hours total pilot flight time in aircraft above 40,000kgs.
Minimum of 1,500 pilot-in-command (PIC) hours in multi-crew, jet transport in excess of 40,000kgs.
Minimum of 3,500 hours in multi-crew, jet transport in excess of 40,000kgs.
Minimum of 1,000 pilot-in-command (PIC) hours on EFIS typed aircraft.
Minimum of 500 pilot-in-command (PIC) hours on A320.
Last flown within 5 Years on A320.
4 years working experience as an airline transport pilot.
Holder of valid multi-engine ICAO ATPL License with Instrument Rating acceptable by HKCAD.
Hold a valid Class One Medical Certificate.
ICAO English Level 4 or above

A320 First Officer – Type Rated

Hold a valid ICAO ATPL or CPL (frozen ATPL)
Hold a valid Class One Medical Certificate
ICAO English Level 4 or above
Hold a valid Multi-Engine Instrument Rating
1,000 hours of flying experience on aircraft above 10,000kgs
200 hours on A320
Last flown within 5 Years on A320 (ATPL/CPL holder AR/IR have not expired for more than 5 years)

A330 Captain – Type Rated

Minimum of 5,000 hours total pilot flight time in aircraft above 40,000kgs.
Minimum of 1,500 pilot-in-command (PIC) hours on Fly-by-Wire or Wide-Bodied aircraft
Minimum of 1500 hours PIC in multi-crew, jet transport in excess of 40,000kgs
Minimum of 3,500 hours in multi-crew, jet transport in excess of 60,000kgs
Minimum of 500 pilot-in-command (PIC) hours on A330
Last flown within 5 Years on A330
4 years working experience as an airline transport pilot.
Holder of valid multi-engine ICAO ATPL License with Instrument Rating acceptable by HKCAD.
Hold a valid Class One Medical Certificate.
ICAO English Level 4 or above

A330 First Officer – Type Rated

Hold a valid ICAO ATPL or CPL (frozen ATPL)
Hold a valid Class One Medical Certificate
ICAO English Level 4 or above
Hold a valid Multi-Engine Instrument Rating
1,000 hours of flying experience on aircraft above 10,000kgs
Minimum 500 hours on an Fly By Wire/Wide Bodied Aircraft
200 hours on A330
Last flown within 5 Years on A330 (ATPL/CPL holder AR/IR have not expired for more than 5 years)

B787 Captain – Type Rated

Total Pilot Flight Time: Minimum of 7,000 hours
B787/B777 Experience:
Minimum of 1,500 PIC hours on B787/B777, with at least 500 PIC hours on B787
Must have last flown the B787 within the past 12 months
Minimum of 2,500 pilot-in-command (PIC) hours on Boeing aircraft
Experience: Minimum of 4 years as an airline transport pilot
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid multi-engine ICAO ATPL License with Instrument Rating (acceptable by HKCAD)
Valid Class One Medical Certificate
Language Proficiency: ICAO English Level 4 or above

B787 First Officer – Type Rated

Total Pilot Flight Time: Minimum of 2,500 hours
Boeing Experience:
Minimum of 1,500 hours on Boeing aircraft
B787 Experience:
Minimum of 500 hours on B787
Must have last flown the B787 within the past 12 months
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (acceptable by HKCAD)
Valid ICAO ATPL or CPL (frozen ATPL)
Valid Class One Medical Certificate
Language Proficiency: ICAO English Level 4 or above
