TEACHERS AND NON-TEACHING STAFF REQUIRED

As a Direct Subsidy Scheme (DSS) school, SPCCPS enjoys flexible allocation of funding and resources. We are now inviting applications for the following posts in September 2025:

(A) Teaching Staff

1. Teacher pf English

2. Teacher of Chinese

Requirements:

● A relevant university degree with a recognized teacher training qualification

● Basic Law and National Security Law Test (BLNST) requirement fulfilled

● Experience in school-based curriculum development will be an advantage

● May need to teach other subjects

● Teacher of English: Applicants must have native fluency in English, with a Bachelor’s degree or above (preferably in English Literature) and attained the EDB Language Proficiency Requirement (LPAT English)

● Teacher of Chinese: Applicants must have fulfilled the EDB Language Proficiency Requirement to teach subjects in Putonghua.

(B) Non-teaching Staff

1. Laboratory Technician

Requirements:

● Obtained an approved Laboratory Technician Certificate or an equivalent qualification

● Meet the entry requirements prescribed by the Education Bureau

● A Grade E / 2 or above in five subjects in the HKCEE / HKDSE (including Chinese, English and two science subjects), or equivalent

● Relevant qualifications (e.g. first aid certificate) and previous experience in working with students in an educational setting would be an advantage

Responsibilities

● Assist teachers in planning, trying out and conducting science experiments and relevant demonstrations, as well as other science-related activities

● Prepare, update and manage science-related materials and resources

● Prepare, construct, operate and maintain laboratory apparatus and equipment, and to conduct routine laboratory tests

● Assist in the purchase of laboratory apparatus, equipment and other items necessary for laboratories

● Keep stores and inventory in laboratories, and to carry out annual stocktaking of all stores and equipment in laboratories

● Be responsible for all safeguarding in laboratories

● Provide support on the promotion and monitoring of laboratory safety
