Communications Officer, Media & Publications
Responsibilities:
Proactively liaise with media, arrange press conference and interviews, prepare press materials and feature stories to maximize media exposure and project a positive image of the Society
Build and maintain relationships with media and raise media awareness on organizational events
Develop contents and host for YouTube and Podcast programmes featuring stories from service users and insight from expert team
Prepare copy, translate, edit, monitor design and production of a range of communications materials and publications
Work closely with service teams and participate in the creation and execution of project related publications
Organize branding and communications programmes in close collaboration with internal and external parties to promote services and strengthen brand image
Perform any other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Degree holder in Communications, Journalism, Translation or related disciplines
At least 2 years' experience in mass communications, public relations, publication
With agency background is preferred
Excellent writing skill in Chinese and English is essential
Detailed-oriented, sound time management skills and innovative with good analytical thinking
A good team player with a strong sense of responsibility and self-initiative
Assistant Service Coordination Officer (Training)
Responsibilities:
To provide administrative support for the training team;
To assist in planning, co-ordination, implementation and evaluation of special projects and research studies
To assist in coordinating and supporting for conferences and programmes organised by Heep Hong Society, including the promotion, enrolment and on-site logistics
To prepare statistical reports, correspondence for centres and external parties
To assist in the preparation of funding applications or proposals for the continued implementation of existing programs or for the development of new services
To perform any other related duties as required
Requirements:
Diploma Graduate or equivalent
Preferably with two years’ relevant experience
Independent, proactive, and good team player
Detail-orientated and organised
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Proficient in computer applications, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
More experience would be considered as Service Coordination Officer
Corporate Development Officer (Donor Engagement)
Responsibilities:
Legacy Giving Initiative: Support and implement legacy programs, engage stakeholders, manage legal processes, and prepare necessary documents for legacy donations.
Crowdfunding Initiative: Create and launch impactful crowdfunding campaigns that align with Society’s mission and target audience.
Performance Monitoring: Regularly track and report on team performance to ensure alignment with objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
System Enhancement Support: Contribute to the enhancement of the donation management system.
Market Analysis: Conduct analyses of fundraising market trends and provide regular reports on findings.
Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly and management information system (MIS) reports.
Donor Engagement: Address inquiries from donors and the public via phone, mail, and email, ensuring timely follow-up with donors.
Project Support: Assist with various ad hoc projects as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Social Welfare, Business Administration, Database Marketing or any other related disciplines
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in donor/ customer services, administrative support
Detail-minded, good analytical skills and able to work independently
Outgoing and energetic, self-initiated and responsible personality
A strong team player, well-organized, independent and multi-tasking
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other Microsoft Applications
Candidates with less experience will be considered for the role of Assistant Corporate Development Officer
Human Resources Assistant (6 months)
Responsibilities:
Maintain personnel files, leave records, and conduct data entry in the Human Resources Information System.
Collect and verify MPF enrollment forms for new employees.
Prepare and assemble data for the insurance renewal process.
Manage cheque printing for payroll.
Compile and verify data for annual performance appraisals.
Draft letters for contract renewals and salary adjustments.
Assist in the verification of relief payroll timesheets.
Perform additional related duties as needed.
Requirements:
Form 5 or above
Detailed-minded, well-organized and willing to learn
A good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
Competent in using MS Office applications and Chinese Word Processing
