Officer, Member Services (Ref : MRD/O-2264/F)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Being part of the Member Services team, the incumbent will be responsible for membership marketing, industry groups communication and event management to support members acquisition and retention. The candidate is expected to:
Co-ordinate and organise corporate events, members activities and provide marketing services in Hong Kong and the Mainland in formats of seminars, exhibitions, mission, award schemes, business matching, and other business-related networking events;
Provide secretariat services to the assigned industrial groups and committees, including preparation of meeting papers and minutes;
Drive members acquisition and retention through members visit and provide high-quality services to members;
Prepare promotional materials, i.e. flyers, brochures, eDM, social media post for event marketing and promotion;
Maintain excellent communication and relationship with internal and external parties for better results;
Provide support to any other ad-hoc duties and activities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
University graduate in marketing, event management, public relations, journalism or business-related disciplines;
Minium 2 years of relevant experience;
Experience in statutory bodies, NGOs, trade / business associations is an advantage;
Experiences in Committees' support is an advantage;
Self-motivated, well-organised, detail-minded, and good sense of responsibility;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Flexibility to work additional hours when required and attend occasional after-hours events;
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
Senior Officer/ Officer , Policy Research (Ref : PRCD/O-2272/F)
KEY RESPONIBILITIES
Conduct research and gather views from the business community for formulating FHKI’s positions and recommendations on policy, legal and regulatory issues pertaining to Hong Kong’s industrial and economic development;
Prepare submission papers, policy statements, articles, speeches, presentation slides and other written materials to communicate FHKI’s advocacy;
Manage research projects, members’ surveys and consultation meetings to gather industry views on policy issues;
Develop sound relations with stakeholders (including FHKI members, government officials, legislators, business partners, academia and media) to strengthen FHKI’s advocacy efforts;
Handle daily news monitoring;
Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Degree holder in related disciplines, preferably in policy and public administration, economics, international affairs or other social sciences disciplines;
2 years of relevant work experience in policy research and advocacy, preferably gained from public organisations, think tanks, media and academic institutions; candidates with less experience may be considered for Officer, Policy Research;
Strong understanding in economic policy and industrial development in both local and global contexts; Knowledge in Mainland China affairs, local legislation and legal matters is a plus;
Proven experience in research and stakeholder engagement projects with strong communication skills, both written and spoken, in English and Chinese;
Good connections with government, think tanks, political parties, media and academia is an advantage;
A mature, self-motivated team player with excellent analytical skills and is willing to go the extra mile; able to work under pressure and tight timelines;
Willing to work outside office hours as and when necessary;
Candidates with more experience may be considered for Senior Officer, Policy Research;
Candidates who can provide a recent research article for reference will be considered favorably.
Manager/ Assistant Manager, Member Services & Event Management (Ref : MRD/M-2273/F)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive to formulate, develop and execute the Federation’s membership strategies furthering Federation’s Vision and Mission;
Drive to develop the Federation’s membership business, sponsorship and market its services;
Provide secretarial services, in particular, supporting the Federation’s industrial groups (as set out under the relevant legislation), councils, committees and other relevant associations etc;
Lead a team to organise Federation’s corporate events and activities in Hong Kong, Mainland and overseas, including, meetings, business luncheons/dinners, study missions, exhibitions, and award programmes etc. for the benefit of Federation’s members and the community at large;
Lead a team to maintain the CRM membership system, production of relevant promotional materials and update the Federation’s online and social media platforms etc.; and
Undertake any other projects as may be assigned from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor Degree or above, preferably in business administration, marketing or equivalent;
At least 10 years of solid experience with not less than 4 years at managerial level;
A team player with leadership and vision, proactive and good planning and analytical skills;
Possess core competencies, including business acumen, relationship building, project management and customer focus;
Experience in trade associations and customer/membership services is an advantage;
Experience in handling Government funding projects is an advantage
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
Ability to work smartly within tight time frame;
Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua); and
Occasional travelling outside Hong Kong may be required.
