The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, seeks dynamic, high-caliber and experienced professionals to join our Exhibitions Department. To strengthen Hong Kong's role as Asia's international business platform, we organise more than 30 world-class international trade fairs in Hong Kong each year.  These fairs, which cover various industries and sectors, create opportunities for companies to promote their products or services to buyers from all over the world.

Project Executive, Service Promotion (Entertainment Industry) (4 months)[Ref. No.: 3/03PJE/SP1/HKTDC ]

Responsibilities:

  • To assist Project Managers in the overall planning and execution of local and overseas trade promotional events related to Entertainment Industry

  • To recruit participants for trade promotional events, including FILMART, Entertainment Expo, Digital Entertainment Summit, etc.

  • To provide logistic support for trade promotional projects, including assisting in liaisons with external vendors, media, as well as internal departments and branch offices

  • To handle enquiries from partners and event participants and undertake on-site duties

  • To liaise and maintain good relations with working partners and industry associations

  • To undertake administrative duties as and when necessary

Requirements: 

  • 1 year of full-time working experience in event organizing, sales and marketing, customer services or account servicing is preferred (Fresh graduates who have relevant internship experience or an educational background in these areas will also be considered) 

  • Proactive, self-initiated and detail-minded

  • Mature, creative, with team spirit

  • Able to multitask, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure 

  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua

  • Proficiency in MS applications and Chinese word-processing 

  • Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with people from all levels 

  • Solid prior experience in event management is an advantage

Remuneration and Benefits:

The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
