KELY Support Group (KELY) is a non-profit organisation that has been serving Hong Kong’s youth for over 30 years. We believe that every young person has the power to reach their full potential, and overcome the many external and internal challenges they face with the right resources and support. Our mission is to equip young people with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities needed to support themselves and each other. We collaborate with schools and other partners to offer programmes and services to empower Chinese and English speaking youth between the ages of 14 and 24 and build peer support around our focus areas of mental health and wellbeing, drug and alcohol awareness and positive youth development, and centred on a peer support approach.

Youth Services Officer 青年服務主任

Job Description

Join our passionate team at KELY Support Group and make a lasting impact on the lives of young people in Hong Kong. In this role, you will play a crucial part in programme and workshop delivery, addressing key youth issues such as drug and alcohol abuse, and mental health, with a focus on both Chinese and non-Chinese youth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver programmes in both English and Cantonese.

  • Establish and foster relationships with youth participants, engaging with them both during and outside of the programme.

  • Assist in workshop planning and admin work to ensure programme are executed efficiently and effectively.

  • Assist in monitoring and evaluating programme outcomes to inform decision-making and promote continuous improvement.

  • Help design and enhance initiatives targeting key issues, contributing to the development of programmes that promote mental health and address drug and alcohol abuse among youth.

  • Coordinate and support student volunteers and interns.

  • Actively participate in and provide support for organisational events.

  • Assist in the coordination and management of programmes within KELY's core focus areas, ensuring they align with the organisation's mission and objectives.

  • Conduct research to stay informed of current trends and best practices, ensuring our programmes are relevant and impactful.

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Social Science, Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, or related disciplines.

  • Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English.

  • Experience working with young people in various settings.

  • Ability to deliver engaging workshops and presentations.

  • Strong team player with the ability and confidence to work independently.

  • Non-judgmental and empathetic, with the ability to relate to young people.

  • Good understanding of mental health, drug and alcohol issues, particularly within ethnic minority communities.

  • Familiarity with youth development systems in Hong Kong.

As an Assistant Manager of Administrative and Operations, you will oversee the daily management of our office environment and support our senior management team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a multifaceted administrative role, ensuring smooth operational flows and effective management of office resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Office Management and Maintenance: Manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory. Coordinate with vendors for accounting systems, HR management, office maintenance, and IT-related issues.

  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive clerical and general administrative support to daily office operations, including data entry, filing, and responding to inquiries.

  • Document and Report Management: Maintain and update company files and records, and generate necessary reports. Manage general correspondence.

  • Human Resources Management: Assist in HR functions and organise key organisational events, meetings, and training sessions.

  • Senior Management Support: Provide administrative support to senior management, including the preparation of regular reports and support for financial record-keeping.

  • Office Storage Coordination: Assist in storage management tasks, maintain up-to-date inventory records, and prepare monthly data reports. Collaborate closely with all teams to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of office operations.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: High Diploma holder or above.

  • Experience: At least 5 years of relevant working experience in office administrative and operations or related fields.

  • Skills: Enthusiastic, creative, detail-minded, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Availability: Immediate availability is highly preferred.
