Academy Officer
Job Responsibilities:
Management and implementation of the academic timetable, as well as providing general administrative support and student/parents support services in the day-to-day operation and activities of the Academy
Maintain daily operation of the studios (Wong Chuk Hang & Happy Valley)
Assist in the development and execution of promotional plans; include arrangement of different events, copywriting of social media post & eDM, and marketing materials.
Manage and support other activities of the Academy including children rehearsals and other related events
Develop and execute assessments for students of the Academy
Plan and execute recruitment events for company dancers, children dancers and students for the Academy
Coordinate with part-time staff to carry out the Academy activities
Maintain strong relations with parents, students, partners and supporters
Handling enquiries and liaising with internal and external parties; venue personnel, teachers, pianist and other relevant parties to ensure that operations are efficient, effective and of the highest standard
Ad hoc tasks assigned by the senior supervisor
Requirement:
University graduate or related discipline
5 days work, shift duty is required
Knowledge of ballet is preferred
1 - 2 years of administrative experience is preferred
Previous experience in working in educational settings would be desirable
Proficiency in Microsoft application software (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Chinese word processing. Knowledge in Canva, Photoshop or Illustrator would be an advantage
Good team player, self-motivated and thrives in a fast paced environment
Presentable, proactive, approachable, outgoing and friendly
Have a pleasant personality and positive attitude with team spirit
Project Manager
The candidate should have a passion for promoting the arts and be a customer-oriented professional with experience and a proven track record in marketing, PR and event management.
Main Responsibilities:
Report to the Director of Development and be responsible for overseeing all the fundraising functions of the department
Develop and implement fundraising strategies, programmes and events
As the person in charge of fundraising gala and attend regular meetings
Year round maintains the operations of guild programmes
Create fundraising goals and solicit funds to meet these goals
Ensure all fundraising budget targets are achieved
Manage promotional materials, fundraising collateral and sponsorship proposals
Research and identify prospective new fundraising opportunities and activities
Develop and maintain a broad network of sponsors, partners, patrons and supporters
Perform ad hoc duties as required
Requirements:
University graduate in Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management or a related discipline
Minimum 6 years’ solid experience in business development, marketing or event management with at least 3 years’ fundraising experience in the relevant field
Previous experience with major donors, trusts, foundations and/or corporate partnerships
Strong project and event management skills
Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word processing
Detail-orientated, team-player with initiative, open to flexible working hours
