Partnership / Senior Partnership Officer (Account Servicing)
The Partnership or Senior Partnership Officer is under the supervision of the Unit Head of the Institutional Fundraising and Partnership Department. The functions of this role are:
To solicit grant givings from corporates, foundations and institutional donors to support the organization’s development.
To maintain relationships with our potential and existing donors
To perform quality programme management
Identify suitable funding opportunities from corporates, foundations or institutional donors for Plan International Hong Kong’s local and overseas programme
Develop concept papers and donor proposals for funding applications
Liaise with the country offices to ensure an efficient and impactful programme design, desired outcomes and monitoring and evaluation system in all project proposals
Undertake timely and quality reporting for donors with close collaboration with the Plan’s country offices
Undertake routine project monitoring for our funded programmes to ensure ongoing project excellence, governance and impact
Cultivate and maintain good working relationships with potential or existing corporations, foundations and institutional donors
Support the handling of the grant finance by adhering to the Plan’s policy and procedure if necessary
Support the department in developing the strategic plan and annual plan
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Knowledge / Job Specific Competencies
A Recognized degree in development studies or a relevant social science discipline
Minimum 5 years of solid fundraising background in INGO, preferably for children development programmes
Extensive working experience in child protection, safe schools, youth economic employment or inclusive quality education is preferable
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and/or grant-making experience is preferable
Working experience in soliciting funding from corporations, foundations and institutional funds is preferable
Have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin and Cantonese)
English requirement – Preferable with Grade C or above in HKCEE (Syl. B) / 7 or above in IELTS
Candidates with less experience will be considered for the role of Partnership Officer.

Assistant Communications Officer, Donor Engagement
What you will be doing?
Implement our regular donor-centric engagement journey - including producing written communication materials, editing videos, developing and dispatching direct mails and emails
Project management of our donor engagement campaigns, such as the Annual Donation Receipt pack.
Translate global reports such as the Introduction Overview and Annual Report of the Sponsorship Programme Areas accurately and timely.
Support the logistics of our online and offline donor engagement events, such as donor trips and donor gatherings.
Analyse the donor segments and devise more personalised communications and channels to enhance engagement and interactions.
Support the team’s ad-hoc duties if required
Who are we looking for?
A Recognized Degree in Communications, Translation, Journalism or related disciplines with 1 year’s relevant work experience
Fresh graduates are welcome with on-the-job training provided
Immediate availability is highly preferred
Excellent written Chinese and English Skills
Proficient in content development and publications
Proficient in MS Office applications and Chinese word processing
Knowledge of graphic and video production software; or experience in database marketing is an advantage
