Procurement Officer/Assistant Officer (Buyer – English Children’s Books)

Responsibilities: 

  • Sourcing English Children’s books for a bookshop chain in Hong Kong

  • Negotiate with suppliers on purchasing terms

  • Produce analysis to support strategic decisions and range reviews

  • Assist in ad-hoc projects as instructed by management

Requirements:

  • Degree holder

  • Good command of spoken and written English

  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines 

  • Good computer skills in Microsoft Office

  • Experience in book industry would be an advantage 

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Procurement Officer.

Customer Service Executive

Job Duties:

  • Handle customer's enquiries via incoming phone calls and emails.

  • Resolve possible customer complaints efficiently and effectively by liaising with retail outlets, internal departments as well as external parties.

  • Administrative and marketing support of daily routine

  • Handle assigned ad hoc projects.

Requirements:

  • College graduate

  • 1 - 2 years working experience in customer service

  • Experience in retail business is an advantage

  • Good command in Cantonese, English & Mandarin

  •  Familiar with PC operation (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Chinese Word Processing)

  • Customer-oriented with good telephone manner, interpersonal skills and serving attitude

  • Can work under pressure and handle multiple tasks at the same time
