Manager, External Relations

Responsibilities:
To manage the operation of the URA's hotline service to ensure efficient and high-quality handling of all public enquiries, requests and complaints in accordance with the URA's performance pledges
To handle copywriting and production of an electronic newsletter
To serve as a bilingual editorial writer to draft various communication materials, including speeches, feature stories, commentaries, scripts for videos and other articles that positively convey URA's message
To research and develop feature stories to promote the URA's initiatives and work
To supervise daily news monitoring duties
To perform other corporate communications and media-related duties as required
Requirements:
Degree holder, preferably in Communication or related disciplines
At least 8 years' relevant experience with proven track record in Corporate Communications/ PR / Marketing, with at least 5 years in supervisory role
Hands-on experience in production of PR / publicity literature
Good verbal & written communication skills in English & Chinese
Attentive to details, team player with good interpersonal skill
Experience in customer relations and handling of public enquiries / complaints would be an advantage
Preferably with good knowledge of urban renewal and housing issues of Hong Kong
Assistant Manager, Planning and Design

Responsibilities:
To carry out design studies/assessments and provide inputs on architectural and/or urban design to facilitate the planning and implementation of assigned projects
To assist in procuring, managing and monitoring consultants engaged in the planning and implementation of assigned projects/studies
To assist in preparing and following up on submission works in relation to design and implementation aspects
To coordinate and oversee the implementation of assigned projects/studies and delivering necessary proposals, reports and presentations
To maintain close working relationship with internal divisions and external parties to solicit public support and understanding of URA’s actions and activities
Requirements:
Degree holder in Architecture or relevant disciplines
Minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience
Experience in handling major Government and/ or one-site multiple use institutional projects is an advantage
Good communication and presentation skills and hands-on experience in graphic design
Knowledge of AutoCAD (2D/3D), Sketch Up, Photoshop, Illustrator, MS Office PowerPoint presentation and other graphic software is essential
Experience in using more advanced 3-D computer visualization tools incl. Revit/ Rhino/ Enscape will be beneficial
Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese
