Accounting Officer VI

Responsibilities:

  • Process event service orders, customer invoice and follow-up on AR status

  • Handle licensing matters and customer agreements

  • Assist with event budget, costs control & event profitability analysis

  • Process vendor payments and other general accounting duties

  • Collaborate with various internal parties to facilitate operation / process efficiency

  • Assist in monthly stock take process

  • Perform other ad-hoc assignment as required

Requirements:

  • Diploma or above in Accounting, Finance or other related discipline/equivalents

  • Minimum 2-3 years of work experience; accounting-related work experience is preferred

  • Strong interpersonal skills, proactive and possess drive for continual improvement

  • Attention to details, able to work under pressure with tight deadlines

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and Mandarin is a plus

Duty Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily venue operations and management as well as event operations on event days

  • Ensure the company policies, procedure, and venue house rules within the venue boundary is complied and the delivery of a quality, safe and pleasant venue environment

  • Provide support to events including but not limited to validating the readiness and order of the venue before handover of venue to the event organizers or their contractors, event set up, move out dismantling works, direct crowd flow and traffic management

  • Perform day-to-day patrol duty, venue management and inspection and report items with irregularity and/or requiring servicing or maintenance

  • Assist to handling customers enquiries relating to the venue and events

  • Speedy respond to scenes of incident and emergency, conduct initial enquiry and report result to the supervisors

  • Assist in supervising performance of security and traffic service providers

  • Provide Security Control Room operation and accurate record keeping, including video surveillance, access control, traffic control, key facilities monitoring, handle lost and found and monitoring of contractors works

  • Safekeep of all keys in the Security Control Room and make accurate records on retrieval and return of all keys

  • Keep proper logs and records

  • Daily hoisting and lowering of National, SAR & Company flags

  • Perform any ad hoc assignments as required

Requirements:

  • F.5 – F.7 or equivalent with minimum 1 year relevant experience in property management of commercial properties, hospitality services and security companies

  • Good written / spoken Chinese (Cantonese), fluency in written/spoken English is an advantage;

  • Experience in operation of CCTV, Key Access Control, Fire Alarm and other systems in the Security Control Room and emergency handling

  • Proactive, customer-oriented, good team player and positive working attitude

  • Possess a valid Security Personnel Permit, valid Hong Kong driving license (vehicle category 1) and first-aid certificate and QAS certificate

  • Good interpersonal skills and be able to work with internal/external parties in the execution of his/her duties

  • 5-day work, shift duties is required

F&B Administrator

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Chef

  • Administer and facilitate all kitchen staff related administration and documentation tasks and activities, and handle confidential documents with professional manner

  • Oversee all kitchen staff attendance and maintain roster record properly

  • Coordinate, communicate and document food and beverage project work

  • Maintain stationeries stock and F&B office hygiene standard

  • Perform any ad hoc assignments as required

Requirements:

  • Diploma or above in Marketing, Business, Logistic Management, Procurement Management, Building studies, Event / Exhibition related course or relevant disciplines

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience, preferable with venue or event management experience

  • Knowledge of the current legislation relating to building and basic contract law

  • Environmental related requirement and best practices in engineering disciplines

  • Green Card Holder is preferred

  • A good team player with mature personality, well-organized, independent and responsible

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and Mandarin is a plus

Manager, IT Support

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of HKIAA technology infrastructure, including exam centre, classrooms, network systems, WiFi, servers, hardware, and software

  • Gather exams requirements from external vendors, facilitate exam setup, prepare exam day on-boarding and IT support

  • Coordinate internally for the development of classroom / event booking system & establish workflows to the adaption to SAP & e-forms

  • Manage and maintain the academy's AV equipment, including projectors, interactive whiteboards, audio systems, and LED walls

  • Liaise with marketing team for the development & upkeeping of HKIAA website & maintain incoming enquiry system

  • Collaborate with teachers and administrative staff to ensure efficient and effective use of e-technology in classrooms and provide event support

  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations

  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, software, and hardware to enhance the academy's IT capabilities

  • Conduct regular training sessions and workshops for staff and students to improve their technology skills and knowledge

  • Manage and monitor IT inventory, including purchasing and asset tracking

  • Work closely with external vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and maintain service level agreements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Proven experience in IT support roles, preferably in an educational setting or hospitality venue

  • Strong knowledge of classroom AV technologies, including projectors, interactive whiteboards, audio systems, and video conferencing systems

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues

  • Familiar with Windows and macOS operating systems and SAP S/4 HANA

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification

  • Experience in developing and implementing IT policies and procedures

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Manager, Finance

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team on daily accounting and month-end closing process

  • Manage the monthly financial and management reporting, interim review and final audit schedules and consolidated reporting packs

  • Build, steer, and manage budget and forecast process

  • Variance analysis and commentary to explain monthly results versus forecast / budget / prior year and provide early warning on deviations

  • Seek opportunities to improve profitability and / or cash flow and provide regular advice in this regard

  • Support the process transformation, development of excel analytics and automation of reports

  • Implement internal controls with the control owners in accordance with group’s policies and guidelines

  • Liaise with auditors, tax advisors and other external stakeholders

  • Perform other ad hoc assignment as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Finance or other related discipline

  • Minimum 7-8 years of finance or accounting work experience with managerial experience preferred

  • Qualified Accountant (e.g. HKICPA, ACCA, etc.)

  • Strong leadership, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Detail-oriented, analytical thinking, proactive professional with strong interpersonal skills and possess drive for continual improvement

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
